Default LRP Pular Touch, any experience?

I'm looking at getting a new charger and thinking about the LRP Touch. Anyone used one before or any thoughts on it?

Thanks!

It's a great piece of kit. I am very happy with mine.

Pros:
Easy to setup
Easy to use
Touch screen
Included stylus
All in one unit
Extremely accurate balancer
Great data
Comes with USB cable

Cons:
Doesn't come with balancing lead or sensor harness splitter for motor checker
Larger than expected (but that's the price for having an all in one)

That's my experience to date. I love mine. I have had the following lipo chargers:

Core UDC20
Hyperion 610inet
Orion clubman lipo edition
Icharger 206b
Icharger 208b

I'v checked into the balancing plug/adapter for hard case. The only place I can find it, is on lrp website. I was thinking about contacting ASC about this. Other than that the charger is GREAT!!!! Very easy to use, lots of usefull functions.

Just for the record Lrp42100 does not work with the LRP Pulsar Touch. The harness that connects the balance board to the charger requires a 6 pin input. The input connector on the charger is a 5 pin. Awesome. Everyone is advertising that the Lrp42100 works with both the Quadra and the Touch but that would not be the case. I know all of this because I was able to find 2) Lrp42100s and went to attach one to my Pulsar Touch only to find out that it was the wrong size. Does anyone know what will work?

Thumbs up

I contacted AE about the LRP42100 Balance adapter. They told me that since it was really only intended for the Quadra, you need to remove the red wire and then trim the connector that attaches to the charger to fit. I have performed this operation twice and it works great.

Hi Kyle3333,
I have plans to DIY the Balance connectors for my Acorn 2S Lipo Batt...
I manage to get the 5 pins male connector from local electronics store...
Is there any blueprint diagram to share on the Balance Polarity?
Your advise will be very much appreciated.

I can't seem to find a blueprint anywhere, but looking at my balancing tray I can tell from the circuit board that 1=Black/Negative 2=White 3=Red/Positive. So looking straight down on the connector that attaches to the charger, furthest right is Black/Negative, next is White(middle wire on a 2s clip), then Red/Positive. I hope I explained that well enough and answered your question.
