Multiplex servo question Profi MC V2 question
I have one of these in my XXXT. I had been feeling like the steering was slow and lacking... i thought it was just a stock servo (purchased truck used), looked up the specs and it should be faster than it is... (is moving much slower than my other z590m servo, which it should be comparable or faster than).
i have never troubleshot a servo... hooked it up to different tx/rx, different batteries etc, but doesn't seem to make any difference can anyone help me learn to troubleshoot these? |
Appears that there are 2 versions of this - Micro/mcV2 and the Micro Speed/mcV2. The Speed is the faster one - .07 vs .17 at 6v, are you sure you have the faster one?

Little bit diff specs here, but regardless....
http://www.servodatabase.com/servos/multiplex Your ques - there's nothing I've seen about trouble shooting a servo to any thing more than what you're already done or to any deeper degree. If its that noticeably slower than a servo its supposed to be faster than, its got probs. These things are pretty complex inside with circuitry and etc. Its likely you're not going to fix it unless its gear train issue and then its a matter of where to find parts. I'd contact Multiplex and ask about service or just replace it. http://www.multiplexusa.com/service-support.html |
i have a bunch of generic futaba servos, and a Losi 'msx digital' servo... i think i will throw the losi in there and try to figure things out with this other servo
