"Cheaper" Transponders
#1
Is there anyone that sells transponders a little cheaper then the AMB's? I wish I never sold the one I had when I got out of racing a while back but now i'm in the market for another one but I rather spend $100 somewere else.

Nice to have people recommending MRT transponders
Our standard AMB/MyLaps compatible PTX transponders with either a tab mount or non tab base works out around $60 US.
The PTX Products page has links to the PTX versions for ordering, PTX specs/information and FAQ are at www.rclaps.com
PTX transponders have a power lead that can be replaced by removing the screws on the base, no problems with a broken lead potentially meaning having to buy a new transponder. For anyone with an AMBrc transponder we offer cloning (details and prices on the clone order form at rclaps) trading in you get an extra cloned PTX free of charge. Anyone without an AMBrc transponder to send for cloning can now order a 'matched ID pair' of PTX transponders supplied with the same custom ID number in both, it's always good to have a spare just in case
