Servo compatibility

Servo compatibility
So i bought some cheap, but well reviewed components from hobbypartz,
FlySky GT-2 Tx/Rx
&
EXI D227f Servo
The Tx/Rx works great with my stock HPI and Futaba servos.
The EXI servo works great with the stock HPI TX/RX
For some reason when I put them both together, the Servo won't work. Is there an explanation for this?
