Default Ace servo repair and/or replacement

Hey there,

Has anyone successfully had an Ace servo warrantied? I have one that burnt up during a race, actually started to melt through the bottom of the case. I'm not 100% sure why, perhaps the linkage was binding a bit and it finally cried for mercy.

What I'm getting at is obviously their lack of a posted warranty. The servo was purchased through A-Main less than a year ago. I got three others at the same time and this is the only one to fail on me. Anyone ever had one replaced or repaired?

Thanks,
John

mine just stopped working after 3 months that was a 1313 throttle also a friend of mine had the same problem apparently a bad batch was sent out we also had alot of problems replacing it but I think it was more to do with where we purchased them from rather than ace them selves

I don't mean to scare you, but I think the Ace warrenty is only three months...

I'd send it in anyhow.

Its a full year. Give them a call 866.322.7121 and send it in, include your Amain receipt and they will replace for free. I've had 2 that I had to get warrantied(over 4 years) and they have always beed great to deal with.

My 1313 did the same thing, but it had been over a year with very little racing on it that year, and the customer service is really good. I thought they forgot about me, then one day i got a brand new servo in the mail. very happy....
