Its a basic 2.4 radio - it has only a strg rate adjustment other than the ttypical TH and Strg trims. It does have Strg and TH reverse switches, but nothing beyond that. The strg rate limits that amount the steering servo can travel on each side, but all at once - you don't set L & R independently. Guess it kind of substitutes for strg epa.
I have a few of the Tactic 2.4 radios I got with RTRs and bought extra rcvr (2 ch is $19 and the 3 ch is $25) and put one in my Inferno GT. Has excellent range and is very light to hold and seems to have great batt life.
Again, its a pretty basic 2.4Ghz radio and its $80 vs $110 for the 2PL with its $60 rcvrs. I don't know anything about the mx sport. If I were buying heads up for just a single RC, I'd get the 2PL. If I was trying to run several RCs of the TX, I'd prob stick with the Tactic.
