Pro Trak

I'm not sure, that is a possibility, I 'm not sure if on the later versions kimihiko's program will be able to recieve the end data. All I can suggest is try and find out.
Chris.

Let me clarify,
I think on Kimi's latest program it may have trouble getting the end data from earlier Pro Trak versions. I know Phil and Kimi have been working on getting them to coordinate effectively.

The Save CSV option cannot be used in the version not more than pro-trak Ver10.56. The other option can be used.
You need to upgrade to ROM beyond V10.56. You should contact with crimson eagle, in order to purchase latest ROM.
crimson eagle ,
Please let me know version of ROM which you sell. If it is Ver10.6X, I can offer the new program corresponding to it.

Thanks Kiyano,
I thought it was something like that. I finished a cycle run today, results a few posts, it's going very well right now, everything working exactly how it should.

Hi,
I have another test result for you all. This time there is a slight difference in the results of the two different charging types. As usual I have run eight cycles, this time I used a 12 hour gap between the cycles. The charge types used were Linear at 5amps, the other charge type was Hard pulse at 5amps with a 50% pulse (7.5amp pulse every second). As usual the ICS equaliser was activated between cylces. Below are the averaged results of three cycles (first cycle of each type disregarded)
Charge type D/CAP-----TIME--SPREAD--AVE V--V 5min-PWR% MATCH% End V PEAK/V
Linear-------3530.33---423.00---1.33---4.85---4.68----101.00--100.33--3.42---6.06
Hard Pulse -3552.33---425.67---2.00---4.87---4.70----102.00--99.67----3.40---6.03
As you can see the hard pulse does yeild very slightly better results. I'll let you all judge if you think it is worth using. You may notice that this is a fairly good set of cells, the average voltage per cell over the discharge period is 1.22V, this is of course at 30A discharge, and after 5 mins @30A the voltage per cell is still around 1.18 - 1.17. These are pro match cells which I've had for about 6 months.
If anyone would like my excell results file e-mail me and I'll send it to you.
Chris.

I updated the Pro Trak Monitor program (Ver1.5.1)
Please download and try evaluation version .
evaluation version cannot receive data from pro trak.
However, you can open sample file.
o download this file
o extract this file
o run setup.exe
o run "Pro Trak Monitor" from your startup menu.
o Press "Open" button
o Open test123.ptm (contained in a ZIP file)
data can be extracted now from graph.
Enjoy!!

Hi all,
I have just purchased a 2nd hand protrak in the market and I have some questions on it.
It is a version 10.42. As what have been mentioned here, it is a fantastic masterpiece.
1. However would someone tell me how old this version is? When did it released??
2. I have tried using it to charge and discharge my pack and found some strange data, as my discharge capacity is larger than the charge one. I have the following setting and done all the calibration follow the instruction:
-GP3300mah
-delta peak = 0.03v
-charging amp =5.0A(fixed)
-discharge amp=20A
-discharge Cut volt = 5.4V
3. The instruction suggests setting the cut volt to 6.0V. But currently we usual discharge pack to 5.4V instead. Does this value affect the data I mentioned above? If so, how should I reference the data with other charger/discharger. (I current have tekin BC112A/Dis350 and LRP pulsar competition. Both of them delivery similar figure on charge/discharge)
4. Is it possible to check whether my pro-trak is upgraded from a lower version or come from factory.
Thanks a lot!!
Cheers

Hi all,
I have one more question.
When monitoring the fallback on each cells, I found that it sometime shows figures as below:
0.01 0.00 0.02
0.02 0.01 0.01
I am wondering why my pack will not peak when this occurs? Because I have set my pack delta peak to 0.03V. Normally if we set a pack delta peak to 0.03V which means each cell should have maximum drop volt around 5mv in perfect. I know real world has no perfect. However as above figure, totally 0.7 drop should trigger the stop charge condition already. So I am so confuse with this figure.
Thanks!

Hi Mr4,v
Answers to some of your questions:-
1. 10.42, I'd say this software was around a year old (Ish) Current version is 10.72.
2. It looks like the charge / dishacrge current may be incorrectly calibrated or there may be a fault with the discharge FET.
3. I would reccomend you set the voltage cut off to 6v (one volt per cell) this will ensure that when the remote leads are not connected cells will not be reverse charged.
4. If you look on the underside of the charger there is a serial number engraved into the bottom of the charger, PM me with this number, i may be able to find out what the original version is. Also look at the DIN socket that you plug the remot leads into. If it is a 7 pin DIN socket, this will tell you that it is not a really old unit.
Your last question. It is possible that these numbers are the Peak fall back rather than final fall back and may not reflect the actual fallback at the time. If this is not the case then it is difficult to say without checking it out.
Chris.

Hi crimson eagle,
Oh!! I Just would like to say a million thx!!!!!!
I certainly need more help from you!!!
-The serial no is 1793.
- I am not sure the remote lead pluge is 7 or not but it could accept a temperature detect unit which has at lease 6 pin.
- What should I do if there is a fault of discharge Fet? Should I replace it. But when I set the cut/volt to 6.0 the number is seems to be OK. I tried once which has charge/discharge capacity as 38XX/34XX.
- Should re-calibration on parameter 17 help ease the case???
Thanks again!!

Hi all,
I need help again!
I found that I have a 31 parameter to calibrate. However the calibrate sheet contains only 30 value. What should I put in??
My pro trak version is 10.42 20A discharge!
Thanks!

You should leave 0 data which is not indicated by sheet.
In the newest ROM, it is improved so that all data may be displayed on sheet.
