Default Max charge rate for this battery?

It says it has a max charge rate of 2C. What does this mean? How does that relate to charging Amps on my charger?

That battery has 4500 mah that mean with 1C u would charge this pack at 4,5 Amps, and 2C would be 9 Amps.

But watch out- if u want to charge this battery at 2C u need atleast a charger with 10 Amps Output charge and ATLEAST 140 Watt.

For that battery the Formula goes like this:

14,8 Volt * 9 Amps = 133,2 Watt

Right, buthow many Watts is that charger rated for? Mine will charge 6A, but only 50W output. For 2S its good, but a 4S pack would only charge at ~3A.

Thanks for the heads up. My charger is also 50W output. Do you guys have any recommendations for a more powerful charger?

Yeah there are a few - this is one I'm using, 200watts -

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...r_&_discharger

Or this one -

http://www.hobbypartz.com/h610-hotpower-charger.html

Also 200watts. The hobbypartz one ships from teh US and teh HobbyKing one would need int'l S&H (when it gets back in stock).

Both would need a separate power supply.....

Holy crap that thing is expensive. But I'm sure it kicks ass. I'm hoping to find something under or around $100 (including the power adapter).

I use the GT power one I linked above. Its been reviewed on RCGroups and has been available for a while. It has no trouble charging 5000mah lipos at 2C (10amps) like i do with my Neuenergy 2S or 3S lipos. I don't have any direct experience with the Hot Power charger.

200watts in a reliable charger for less than $100 is hard to beat.
