Default Lipo charging help needed

Hey guys, I just ordered a couple of these --> http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-ROAR-Approved batteries from A-main to put in my B44 running a Tekin RS Pro and a 6.5t motor. I am new to lips so I have a few questions so I don't burn my house down. It looks like my Venom Pro charger is capable of charging up to 5.0 amps, what would be the best charge rate for the batteries listed above for a typical race day? With 6 minute qualifiers, should I need to charge them between each of the the qualifying rounds then use a freshly charged battery for the main or should I just top off the battery between each round? I'm sorry if that I am asking a question that seems to be asked a lot, but I seem to become confused with figuring out the charge rating. Thanks in advance.

A 1C charge rate for that lipo would be 5.2amps (5200/1000). Since you charger has a max charge rate of 5amps, that's what you need to charge it at.

The easiest thing to do is to either run a timed practice for 6 min and then recharge the lipo - see what mah goes back in. This will give you an idea of what mah/min you're consuming. For best lipo life, you shouldn't pull more than 80% of its capacity (4160mah), so knowing the consumption and how much is useable, you can get a close idea of what runtime is practical. You can top off (with lipo its called a fast lipo charge) anytime you need to and with small amounts needing to be replaced, charging at 5amps, it should charge quickly.
