Default Hitec 7950 & 7955

Can anyone confirm both these servos can handle straight lipo??

7955 does not like much over 6v... I think stright 2's would smoke it right away.

7955 runs fine on 2s. Call Hitec tues & ask their recomendations.

I run all my 7955's on straight 2cell Lipo. Speed and enough torque to break your finger if your not careful.

7950, 7940 can also handle 8.4v

7954 I think can, I haven't tried it. Should be a cheaper steel gear version of the 7955.

Thats exactly what the 7954 is and it can handle lipo direct. Pretty good servo I run them on my car.

Huh... maybe my 7955's are some how different I set my CC bec to run 7v and both servos got HOT quickly and twitched... maybe it's just rock crawlers are more demanding
