Default Futaba 604FS-E Glitch

Anyone have any issues with these receivers? I just installed one of these 604FS-E receivers in my 12th scale and for the first time ever my car start glitching. Once per 6 minute race my car would either stop, or go in a straight line and smash into the boards.

Initially I had issues trying to get the receiver to bind.

I had switched from a normal 604FS receiver and never had any glitches. May be something else causing it. I will try the 604FS-E in my touring car and see if it still happens.

Is the Cap something you just plug into the receiver? Where would I get one?
