Default Binding trouble with Airtronics MX-3X

Hi,
I cannot get a successful bind between my NEW Airtronics MX-3X Tx and a 92324 Rx..
I have the TX set to FH3 as I believe the 92324 RX is FHSS-3.
The instructions for the TX say to go to the BIND function then turn on the RX while pressing down the bind button, then press the INC TX button, then the DEC TX button.
The instructions included with the RX say to turn on the RX first, then press the RX bind button, then turn on the TX...

Well, I have tried both methods repeatedly, tried with esc powered, tried with a disconnected esc and a separate RX battery pack.

Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help..

Max

It was a bit confusing to me when I bound mine. It did bind but I didn't think it had. There didn't seem to be an indication that it worked.

Issue has been solved...two issues really.
First problem was that when I was trying the different Modulations (FHSS-2 and FHSS-3), I did'nt "accept" the change. Turns out that when in the set up mode, if you change a parameter and the screen is blinking, then the +/- keys must be pressed at the same time to set the change.
Second problem is that the Airtronics 92324 receiver is FHSS-1 and there fore it would never have worked. As soon as we tried a FHSS-2 Rx, in bound right up with no problem!

I have to give ALL the CREDIT for getting this sorted out to the two guys working at the Chino California HOBBY PEOPLE store. Thanks guys...sorry I don't have your names...
