Default servo problem?

Bought a hitec 645mg servo for steering on my muggy a month ago, worked fine up until now, I installed everything for my new dx3s today with telemetry then tonight took the telemetry reciever out to put the regular spectrum reciever in and right away was having problems at first the reciever wouldn't turn on unless I un plugged the steering servo and finally I got it to come on with it plugged in but now the servo twitches BAD. If I let it centered it twitched but if I turn it either direction it will stop then when I let it center again it twitched. I plugged my old Jr servo in and it works fine.. is it the servo or what?

Should I only expect hitec servos to last a month? This servo has never been wet either.

Send it in. Hitec will fix it. But seriously, a 35 buck servo to handle steering?? and 133oz of torque to turn those monster tires it might just be too much. You need at least 200 oz for steering.

I had the same issue with a couple 625s, and just got to the point where i was tired of sending them to hitec. My 5625 and 5926 have no issues at all.
