Default Fastest Motor?

What is the lowest turn (highest rpm) electric motor currently available?

2.5 turn is the lowest I've seen. It has an 11900KV rating.

What do you plan to do with it?

If you want to do speed runs you are better off with a beefier (1/8 scale) lower kv rating motor (maybe 2200)that can handle something like 10 or even 12s lipo and then put an aircraft ESC in it that can also run at high voltage. I've seen video of a 10th scale car doing 157mph with a setup like this.

2.5 turn is practically a short circuit. It will probably fry your ESC rather quickly or melt itself from the heat. I think most mod racers don't tend to run any lower than 4 turn. Most I've seen run 5 or 5.5 turn motors. Please correct me if I'm wrong rctech community. There are a lot of people here way more knowledgeable than I am.

I agree with what he said I tend to prefer lower kv motors now. easier on the batts, and esc.. Also the 157mph car is f/s. He is getting out.

I am just curious. I don't intend to do anything with it. I was just wondering what the lowest turn motor currently available is; make and manufacturer. Have any links?
