Power supply?

I am looking to pick up another charger. Currently using Muchmore Silent Charger with Lipo balancer.(Using AC). I am looking to get another charger for my lipos as well. WHat kind of ratings am I looking for as far as a power supply goes? I will likely run my Silent Charger on there as well. Thanks for any info.

If you want to be able to run both chargers at full capacity, you'll need a power supply that puts out about 20% more watts than both chargers combined power output. This 20% takes care of the inefficiences in the chargers.
Your charger has 120watts output power. So if you bought another charger with 120watt, you'd need a PS with 288watts (1.2 x 240watts). If the PS supplies 13.8v (like a lot do - both of mine are 13.8v), then it would need to supply 20.9 amps. A 20amp supply would be plenty close enough and work just fine.

4S at a 1C charge rate (5amps) takes 84watts (16.8v x 5a). That 10a supply will have enough to do that (should be about 120watts = 12v x 10a assuming its 12v).
It won't let you run the Muchmore at max capability (120watts) since thats all the PS puts out. The Muchmore charger on the 10a supply will prob only be able to run at 100 -105watts.

Thats what happens when a charger charges a lipo that needs more power than the charger can supply. Charger limits charge current to stay under its power output limit and charging times increase.
Charger output power is a good thing and persopnally I don't think you can have too much these days.
