problem trying to bind a spektrum 3000 receiver to my 3r radio, and the light on the reciever only flashes once when the power is turned on ,otherwise it wont come on and bind any help

I'm sure you know this but make sure you have good voltage going to the receiver, they don't like to bind if things are getting low.

I've also had to turn my 3r off/on a couple times to get it to bind with my 3000 receivers. Just a funny quirk the combo seems to have sometimes

Not sure if this is the case here, but I've read somewhere on another thread about rare occasions where it wont bind if the transmitter and receiver are too close to one another.

Something to try anyway.

hold down the blue bind button, turn it on. it blinks once then a second later it keeps blinking. then let go of the blut button. scroll down in the menu of the tx and bind. when the lights stop flashing and it goes solid you're good to go.
