Need to change to an Align style balance plug
#1
I bought some MaxAmps 2200s for my mini revo and ordered the wrong balance plugs. I got the Hyperion plugs by mistake but have some Align style that I need. My basic issue is which wire goes in which slot on the plug. I have some other packs with align plugs, they have a white, black, and red wire. The MaxAmps packs have two blacks and a red. The Hyperion plugs are much wider and have a black wire on one far end of the plug and the other black one right next to the red wire on the other side. How should I go about putting these in the Align plug?

Getting the right balance adapter really makes the most sense:

a decent exacto knife should be the only tool you need. i have done what ezrem said a few times before. use the xacto knife to release the pins from the plug housing and move them to a different slot. then cut off the extra plug. before you cut it off, hold the plug next to whatever you need to plug it in and see what the best side to cut off is.
it sounds like you have 2s (7.4v) batteries. the wires should be 0v, 3.7v, and 7.4v in that order on both styles of connectors, hyperion style just has a bunch of empty slots in it.
