Default Opinions on this ESC?

http://www.hobbypartz.com/vose6abresc.html

Was looking for cheap ESC's to replace the stock on my micro-dt. Found this one and if i did the math right, the cont. amps should only be 2.3-2.4 and this can handle 6. It has everything i need though i don't know about reversing.

What is everyone's opinions on this ESC inside a micro-dt? And i hope this is the right section. Was confused between this one or the micro though it's more related with the actual ESC.

EDIT: Was it bad i connected the stock 4.8 nimh battery to the motor without any ESC in between? The motor spun slower and slower though in the videos i saw a 9 volt battery connected right to the motor for 2+ minutes on how to break in your motor. Did i break the motor doing this?

I have a question now. Will this ESC work with a brushed BB2 motor? I am so used to castle ESC's i forgot about that part. I hope i didin't waste 12 dollars.

That ESC will work ok if it has brakes, but I didnt see anything listed. But it will not run brushed motors.

Your motor should have been fine, it was likely your battery dying that caused it to get slower and slower.

If you want a new ESC you will also need a new receiver and new servo. The stock Losi micro unit is an ESC and receiver in one, and the stock servo doesn't use the standard 3-wire setup.
