Default ESC Wiring Question

I have an esc with blue, yellow and orange wires, while I have a motor with red, white and black wires on it. Which wires do I connect to ensure everything works properly?

For a Brushless Motor... A to A, B to B, C to C. Battery Positive to Battery Positive, Negative to Negative

For a Brushed Motor... Postive to Battery and Motor Positive. Battery negative to ESC Negative. motor negative to esc motor negative.

If you're ESC or motor (or both) don't have labels for the ABC phases, it's generally blue/black, yellow/white, red/orange, you can't damage anything if you get it wrong so try it and if it doesn't work change it up. also if it works but your motor spins the wrong way, just switch the A and C phases (the 1st and 3rd) and leave the middle where it is.
