Default DX3R receiver compatability

Does anyone know if the mini spectrum receivers work just as good(response time) with the DX3R controller as the receivers that come with it ? I'm thinking about upgrading, but I want to use the mini receivers that I paid $100 each for. The mini receivers also fit better in the smaller scale cars.
Thanks,
John

Use them, I doubt you would even notice any difference in speed. The mini SR3500 had a faster speed than the Pro but I'm not sure how it compares to the DSM2 receivers. I can not tell any difference between the mini, Pro, Sport or standard DSM receivers in speed. I use the minis in 1/12 and WGT for their size and short antenna.
