SR3300T antenna

I have an SR3300T on the way with a damaged antenna and am wondering what I need to replace it. I've read its not just a wire like the FM systems I'm used to, and that its a coax wire that plugs in. Where can I get a replacement?

I see that Amain has a case for a SR3100 and an antenna for 7$, is this the same antenna I need? And is it available somewhere without the case I don't need?

Thanks
Dan

It is just a straight wire and can be replaced if you are confident with soldering etc...

Take the cover off and you will see where it goes

The replacement 3100 antenna pack uses a slightly different type / length of wire but it may work

I broke mine and sent it into a local spektrum agent, they replaced it for for $30

Cheers

Could someone let me know what the length of the antenna is? I'll probably attempt the job myself if its just a normal wire.

9.1 cms from the circuit board

Cheers
