Default lipo issue

So o was checkin batterys today cuz I jus kinda threw them all in a bag after the races last night. And one of the batterys showed a over voltage of 8.78v when I checked them on myu charger. So I check with my volt meter, and same result ( 4.39 and 4.41) I know this is high. What does this mean? Battery going bad?
Any help is appreciated.

seems like you overcharged your battery, drain it then recharge it to see if problem persist.....

Since you have others that didn't overcharge (prob not the charger), that lipo may be going bad. Usually they just start getting weaker (voltage falls) and deliver less and less mah after charging.

Discharge and make sure it doesn't swell (damage) - I'd keep an eye on it - you might want to store it somewhere that it can't do any damage.
