I am looking for a cheap lipo charger. I already have a good one but it does not charge fast enough to run two classes. has anyone tried the imax chargers on ebay?

Those are also sold by Hobbypartz and you can get them directly from them if you want - looks like they may be cheaper direct -

I bought this charger and it works absolutely great. Comes with everything you need to charge whatever bat. There is also a youtube video on it.

I have the polymax pro charger from ebay. It looks almost the same as the losi except its black and not blue. I have had no problems with it and I'd surely buy another one! It was 30.00 shipped to me. It comes with other leads to charge other things also. It comes equipped with molex connectors, or an ebay store six rice has a similar one that I also have and like. It looks like the racers edge and comes with deans plugs and software to hook up to the computer and an internal cooling fan. Id buy one again, it comes with a harness to charge 3 batteries at once. I plan on buying another one, works great! Its like 50.00 shipped. Hope this helps.

I have one and I absolutely love it. It does everything they advertise. It will not let you charge anything wrong, it alarms and kicks out if you cross up the leads. Charges all my batts as quickly as I need and does a excellent job balancing lipos. Best 50 bucks I spent. Only one gripe is the knock off deans style connectors are too tight but that's nothing to turn me away from recommending it. It's the same circuitry as the Tenergy, and quite a few other high dollar chargers. Same displays, function keys...blah, blah. You get the point. I bought the Mystery B6 from "In the Sky" off E-Bay for 50 bucks. All the charge leads I needed, a power supply and a nice al. case for it. 50 bucks shipped to the door. They have since gone up on Buy it Now prices, people are catching on to what the chargers are.

I have had good experience with Venom products. Even though it's not really a Venom.

A bit outside your price range, but I picked up the Racers Edge SureCharge 2010 AC/DC charger last week. It does 8amp/90 watts charge and 5amp/35 watts discharge regardless of power source. It can also handle up to 6S, but I'll normally use it for parallel charging 2S batteries. The squid and case are a really nice touch but I would prefer this charger was $50 cheaper ($100).
Had I been able to wait I would have gotten the Hyperion 720i AC/DC which does 10 amp/90 watts on AC and 10amp/150 watts. It is 3-4 times larger than the other charger and has a permanent (-ly annoying) DC cable but it has several more features (lithium cycling) that I could live with the ugly-stick factor.
Good luck on your search!

Sorry, I didn't realize I resurrected a 2010 thread. Thanks for the help though. I guess I should have bought the Thunder AC6 ac/dc charger as they're all becoming hard to find. I just had read so many failures upon receipt on the hobbypartz forum, I didn't want to be one of them.
