Some ESCs require the throttle channel being set in the reverse position to work properly. I'm not sure if that's the case for all ESCs (I don't own a 4PK), but it'll cost you nothing more than a few minutes to give this solution a try. Don't forget to recalibrate the controller to the ESC once you've reversed the throttle.

i would 2nd that. try reversing the throttle channel. for some reason this is still an issue even on the most expensive ESCs. i have no idea why, but thats what the reverse channel function is for.

edit-damn nvm then.

try changing the epa's to higher or lower settings.

Is the battery charged?? some lrp esc's come with them in lipo mode and if the batt is low it will whine but their isn't enough amps to make the motor go.

hook that lipo in your tc5 and see it works since you know that rx,esc, motor, system works.

you can also reset the model memory on your 4pk so it will at factory default settings. Also make sure that the sub-trim is at zero and the epa is at 100 high and low. Some esc's don't like the epa to be 120 high/low.

sub trims are at 0
epas are at 100

i can hook the batt direct to the motor and it goes full bore!

ok on the lrp esc i have an orange, yellow and a blue wire, what goes to what?

the stock brushed motor has a blue and yellow, i didnt get a manual with the esc and ae site is doing some maintenance so i can get it to get one.

sounds like your esc is wired incorrectly, I know 2 wires go to one terminal but I have not done it in a year and do not remember. Someone here will be able to help or the site will come back up.

Sounds like your radio is good

Are you sure you have the wire from the esc plugged into the rcvr with correct polarity??
