LIPO shrink wrap?
#1
HI!... Anyone got a link to a site that I can order some Heavy Duty shrink wrap covering for some of my LIPO batteries? The ZIPPY lipo batteries I have are open on the tail end and you can see the actual lipo cells. I'd like to add a bit of protection.
Thanks :
Neal.

LOL, even MaxAmps shrink wrap is hugely overpriced!!!
$.24 more per foot!
I want to buy some too. How do we know what size we need? How large is the average 2S pack? I don't see the dimensions listed.

This is teh way I figure width - if your lipo is 140x40x20mm (LxWxH), you'd need shrink at least 60mm wide.
Add the (W + H) of the battery and get something close to that in width. Length is length of the pac - I'm usually generous here, my Hakko heat gun will pull it up as long as I don't get ridiculous with length. Closest for the example appears to be 68mm width.
