Default Which lipo is better?

So I ordered my hyperion eos0606i ac/dc charger, now I just need to find a good lipo pack, i've been looking at smc, reedy, orion, and protek. I noticed that protek has a 5000mah 35c 7.4 lipo for 69.99 through amain hobbies, and then there's the reedy pack whick is 5000mah 35c 7.4 for 109.99, my question is if the reedy pack is about 40 bucks more is the reedy pack that much better being they have about the same power rating?.

I am a big fan of everything Associated, including LRP and Reedy. But it is time they stop using their name to charge so much for these packs. They are probably not as good as the Protek packs in my opinion. I believe Orion has some of the best Lipos on the market right now, but they can be pricey too.

I've been using Fantom Racing batteries and couldn't be happier. They are ROAR hard pack approved and are some of the best in the business.

I too am now looking for a couple of LIPO batteries (upgrading from NIMH).....I'm still kinda confused about one thing though....the 35C,30C,20C ratings...what are those about?

I found these packs...are they worth a damn??

These are unknown lipos and may or may not be wotrth much. The HobbyCity lipos are well known and worthwhile. Search eBay for Turnigy - there was a seller who had biught a bunch and was re-selling them at a price of course, if you don't want to do int'l S&H.

The "C" business - read the 1st couple of posts here where its explained -
