A6020 Spektum servo?
#1
Hi i am just wondering if this servo would be suitable for a steering servo in a 1/8th buggy. I no the speed is only .19 but i am only new to racing so my reaction time isnt the fastest. Also it says it is a digital aircraft servo. does this matter?
here is the specs
10.5kg torque at 6volts
.19 speed
Dual bearing
41x20x39mm

A6040 is what I'm running in electric 8th and its is enough, but I would like to have more torque. The A6040 is 167oz/in torque and the 6020 is 145. I have 6030 that is being repaired on warrenty, never worked out of the box, the 6030 has 278oz/in torque.

not sure about the A6020 but i had the A6040 and took them back. were constantly twitching and trying to center despite there being little/no load on servo horns (went as far a measuring amp draw to confirm). replaced with ace DS1015 and they are awesome. could be difference between heli servo in car and a dedicated car servo, not sure.
