Default trinity I Balance charger

quick question. i got the above charger and it has a lipo storage charge mode. i was talking with someone at trinity and they said you should discharge a lipo when storing because as it sits it builds a charge. so if i use lipo storage mode will it charge the pack? i dont think it would discharge it b/c it has a seperate discharge mode already.

so if i wanna store my lipo should I...
1. use lipo storage mode or
2. use lipo discharge mode

real confused here

If your charger works the way my Hyperion does, you tell it a %'age to store at, like 70%. Then charger looks at lipo and sees if it needs to charge it to get it up to 70% or discharge it to bring it down to 70%. Then charger does what needs to do in either case.

Same deal if your charger operates on a voltage basis for storage (I don't know any that do it this way though).
