I know nothing about that particular speedo, but my experience with LRP customer support is awful. I bought a brand new LRP speedo several years back. It smoked the first time I plugged it in and they basically told me I was SOL.
I know for a fact that Novak, Tekin and Xcelorin (Horizon) will stand behind their products. I have not and never will buy a LRP product again.

That's your bad review, now mine which is exactly opposite. LRP, other than being a little slow on repairs, has been very good for me. I've had 2 of the Sphere and they are simple to adjust and do have the lipo cutoff. Very good unless you are running some of the really low turn motors like 3.5. I don't think you can go wrong with LRP.

I have been running two for about a year and I don't think you can get a better speeder and yes it defaults to a lipo cut off. These speeders are much better than what they had in the latter brushed era. That being said this speeder does not have a timing advance booster, turbo or what ever you want to call it.

ESC TC Spec stopped working on april/may 2009 I send it to LRP directly on advise from LRP themselve.
It is now feb 2010 and after they promised to send the speedo to the distributor of my country I still have nothing received.
I have mail them again and again no answhere
This is not a good service at all.
So ALL LRP USER GOOD LUCK for me is it the most expensive speedo there is.
And the other products of LRP I have bad expierience with are the Lipo 5300
I switched from niMh to Lipo LRP 5300 and believe it or not all the drivers with LRP lipo (except LRP team drivers) has lost there LIPO's in 1 month.
So WHAT DO YOU MEAN WITH GOOD SERVICE AND GOOD PRODUCTS, the only thing I can say they cost me a LOT money.
This WARNING is SPECIAL FOR LOW BUDGET RACERS WATCH OUT
Thanks

The Sphere TC spec speedo would be a great speedo for the beginner. It is of great quality and will last quite sometime if looked after properly. I have been running one every week for a year now and no problems what so ever. Only thing now is that it just can't keep up with the Tekin's. Unfortunately I have to update but it is not because of poor quality. The technology is just outdated.

A few weeks later i've send a e-mail to RC-connect about this and they told me that he never has received a speedo with my name on it and I know this fellow (Eric Jonk) and I must believe him (good person).
After that i've mailed to LRP but they aren't home anymore for me.
So I wish you good luck with your LRP products but for me it is over and out.

Hello,
i donīt think that LRP is lying to you, why should they do this?
When LRP says that they have the Speedo send to RC Connect, than they have done this.
I think you have to speak another time with Eric Jonk, that you get your speed controler.
Eric should ask LRP when they have send the speedo back to him.

Maybe one of you LRP Sphere Comp ESC owners can help answer a question for me because I am pretty sure mine is messed up somehow. I just bought a brand new Sphere Competition 2007 Edition and it appears to not be putting out full power to the motor. I have tried it with a LRP Eraser 10.5 and a Novak Ballistic 13.5 but with both, it acts like its only getting 60-70% of the power it should for a brushless system. I've calibrated several times, the ESC says its hitting full throttle, but when I punch the throttle with either motor, it feels like I'm running a stock silver can 540. Someone at the track suggested that maybe its just not as fast as other BL speedos, but c'mon, this thing should should scream.
I guess all I want to hear is someone else say that they have this speedo and that it is just as insane fast as other brushless systems. This would help confirm my suspicions so I can send this thing in for warranty without them coming back to me and telling me its supposed to be that way.
