I've been using the BMS621 which cost even less than that one and I've had no problems so far. The only thing is I needed to add a Rx cap to prevent the servo from stuttering. Don't know how long it would last but no problems yet. Personally I plan on buying more for my other cars. If you are unlucky you might get a bad one.

I wouldn't give this thread too much action, it's jsut advertising from a supplier made to look like a legit racing thread for those that don't know

BTW, they're crap

The motors they use in the low profile servos are inadequate. They burn out the brushes fairly quickly. However you can buy new motors Ebay (it's a standard Mabuchi motor) for $1.50 each

I got 1 of those. Came with a nice green transparent box.

I have had better luck with cheaper servos. They stop moving and get confused if u turned it fairly quick

A Rx cap fixes that.

I'm running them on 6V output from the BEC on my Rx. Car is 1/10 onroad. I'm using the 621 servo.

Thats awesome, you get to buy a cheap crap servo so you can modify it and hope it works for a while, kind of like buying a Radio Shack rc car, modifying it, and trying to run in TC Mod LOL

You always get what you pay for, cheap IS CHEAP

I've been using the 621MG in my 1/10 touring car, so far so good. Probably not a bad spare to have on hand. The price is right.

Actually Novak sells these caps too. They're designed to improve ALL servo issues and/or improve performance. BTW I didn't modify the servo, I add a cap to the Rx. Both Novak and Spectrum offer these caps. The servo has been working GREAT so far and it only costs a little more than a Futaba S3004.

If/when it breaks I'll let you know.

That's good to hear. Like many here I was hesitant at first but I thought I'd give it a try and if it craps out then I would have firsthand experience. So far my servo is working fine too. I'm glad I took the risk to find out for myself.
