JR 8800s ?
#1
hi, I bought a jr 8800s servo on the boards just a couple of days ago,
the ? I have is,how could I tell if i got a jr 8800s srevo, and not a 8800t servo? don't tell me to look at the label,it was missing(seller said it was missing)or don't tell me to time the throw. I was wondering if i could tell from some type of different feature on one or the other.anybody have any ideas.

i think you could prob count the teeth on the gears im sure that that is the only diff besides the label you'll have to take the top off to do so would be easy to tell if you had either an 8800 t or s to compare with
good luck

I just inspected my still-in package JR 4800T, 4800S and 8800T and other than the labels on both ends of the cases, there are no apparent distinguishing characteristics.
Here's a low-tech check. If you turn the wheel right-left to move the servo with no load and it turns real quick - ZZT-ZZZT it's probably the 8800S. If it turns a little slower, zzzt-zzzzzt but feels like it would break your finger if you tried to stop it, its the 8800T version.
