Default LRP SXX TC problems

Hi guys, I hope someone is going to be able to help me out here.

I use an LRP SXX TC in my LRP Shark ST micro. I have the ESC connected to a Novak Mongoose 10.5 motor and the gearing is spot on.

Using this ESC with a micro 380 motor I dont believe that there is any real load compared to if I was running a 540 motor etc.

I have a problem with the ESC cutting out mid race. I have tried using the ESC with te LiPo cutoff set to "off" but to no avail. The car feels (and sounds) like it stutters sometimes on acceleration as if I was running a sensorless system?

Today I swapped out my small micro Spektrum pro reciever for one of the bigger pro recievers to see if it could be the reciever. I shall be trying it tonight and will update later.
However.....when I was binding I came across a new issue....

When I apply full brake the blue "set" led stays on, as does the red "mode" button, but the red "mode" led sometimes flickers randomly.
When the red led flickers the led on the Spektrum reciever starts to flash in a weird pulseing mannor; ive never seen it happen before.

It goes away if I turn the servo, and I have no failsafe setting set into the reciever.

Does anyone have any ideas at all why the red led flickers and the reciever light pulses?

For the record I have tried it with my MRT PT connected and disconnected. I have tried connecting a Spektrum reciever cap as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Cris
