Its definitely worth it if you need a charger. Sounds like it has everything to keep your packs working great. Depending on what you are charging with it, it could charge in as fast as 1/2 hour or less. For larger capacity packs it will take closer to 1 hour.

Thats the charger I started with (and still have) it will not charge lipo, so if you have any intention of charging lipos, that charger will not. Other than that, its a good charger. Mine false peaked when pushed to the max 3.5amps (on AC) so you may have to reset and try charging again if it seems to quit early or your packs don't get warm.
Approx charge time - (mah/1000) / charge rate, amps = approx hours, example, 5000mah charging at 4amps - (5000/1000)/4 = 1.25hrs or 1hr 15min.
This is approx since it ignores what batt alreadu has in it when you start the charge and also ignores batts internal resistance.

I ran gp1100s NIMh in my 18th scales before I converted to lipos, but they were 1100s back then. What we were told to do, was charge them at 1amp and see how hot they got. If they were not too hot (temp > 125-130F), then could try 1.5amps and make same temp check. If OK at 1.5 could try 2amps. I never charged mine at over 1.5amps.
Approx charge time, at 1.5amps is less than an hour. If run down until they quit, expect 40-45min. If charged at 1amp, the time will be longer.
