DX3S Battery help needed
#1
Hi all,
Im running a DX3S and up until now have been using nimh rechargable batteries. I usually change them when the voltage gets to 4.8v, ive decided to try alkaline and see if there is any difference.
Does anyone know if the DX3S has some kind of built in alert when the radio batteries are getting low?
I know and use the reciver battery alarm but never heard one for the radio?
If it doesnt how low can I run 4 alkalines?

Low Battery Alert can be set under the "System" menu
Get yourself a set of Low Self Discharge Nimh's (Sanyo Eneloop / Maha Imedion)
You will get over 7 hours of use between charges and they wont go flat when you switch the unit off
Cheers
