I about to trade my LRP QC2 brushed esc and some Checkpoint motors for a brand new LRP Sphere (the 1st one) and Neo 1 star to put a brushless system into my new RC10R5 with out spending tons of dough. Did I make a mistake in doing so. I also have to change the motor reguarless for racing it locally (10.5 1 cell) but not sure I should have just put a nice brushed motor and run what you brung... please help

What LRP Sphere are you taking about?
2007 Comp - worth about $80 now
2007 TC spec - worth about $100 now, if the fan is still there and working.
