Default Tekin RS vs RS Pro???

Guys...I am looking to get a new speedo for my T4 and B4. The T4 I am running mod class with a 7.5 LRP X-11 motor and B4 is stock class with 17.5 Tekin Redline motor.

What is the difference between the Tekin RS Pro and the RS ? The RS says it has a 5 turn limit for brushless and I doubt I would ever be able to run anything close to that due to my skills....probably 6.5 or 7.5 is the most and they are alot of me right now!

The only difference between the two is that the RS has 24 fets and the Pro has 48 fets. The Pro has no motor limit and the RS has a 5 turn limit.

this is the easy way to know what one you need. are you going to running 4wd offroad or mod touring if not all you need is the rs not the pro.not to be blunt about it

Fet's are what transmit the power form the battery to the motor. Their real name is MOSFET: Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor. The more of them there are the more power a device (ESC) can handle. OK enough with the electronics lesson. I run the RS in all of my 10th scale stuff and have been very happy with it. I was going to by RS pros but after speaking with Randy on the Tekin RS thread he said it is overkill for off road and suggested to not spend the extra money (imagine that a honest company rep.) I have ran them for about a year and a half now with no problems. I have run as low as a 8.5 and to be honest it is way to fast! If you have a hooked up track surface you may be OK. With the hot wire it really wakes up the ESC especially for the higher turns. If you are running 4wd you may want to go with the pro to keep it from thermaling but in 2wd yo will be just fine.

I run an Rs in RB5 with 8.5 and never had a problem, and Randy is a great Rep. How many other companies have you seen with a Rep that goes as far as Him?
I saw in a thread here that he actually sent someone His personal speedo when the guy had a problem, and had a Big race coming....
