Default Hyperion duo 2 help

I need some help!
My charger on channel 2 started working very slowly and I powered it down to try and reset it. When I did this the screen just went blank and would not turn back on just got faint black squares on the top row. I let it sit for a while and it started up and worked but channel 2 is still very slow to respond. I had a battery cell (NIMH) pop while on that channel a few weeks ago. I don't trust the charger now. I have switched to strictly lipo now and don't want any more surprises. The charger is very new and only been used 20-30 charges so I am surprised to have problems this early in it's service life I thought these were some of the high end chargers? Any advice?

Obviously somethings going on with channel 2 that shouldn't be. I would give a Hyperion dealer a call and see what he would recommend doing. This is the dealer I've been using -

Hope you get it worked out, good luck.

Thanks for the help.
My LHS that I purchased it at said that I had to go through the distributor directly( Empire Hobby ) I would imagine most are like this now. So...

I got in contact with Victor at Empire hobby in Grand Junction AZ and they wanted it back. It was a real easy process. I looked them up on the web. Called and sent a e-mail, got a return e-mail with return info, and shipped it to them today. I can't believe how hassle free it was. Once I receive my DUO 3 replacement I will post again on how the return process was.

Its good to see that after spending that kind of money on a charger, they are looking after you.

Let us know how this turns out.

I wanted to let everyone know that I received the replacement charger. I sent it in on a Friday and received a NEW in box duo 3 on the following Wednesday. They even included jst balancer adaptors!!! I could not be happier with the hassle free warranty support from Empire and Hyperion (thank you Victor of Empire). I was a little worried when I decided to buy from a overseas company. I almost exclusively buy American for these reasons. This time it really worked out great.
