Default Smokin motor

Ok I have a orion 6.5t vortex brushless motor its does not have many runs on it and the motor temp after a 5min run was in the low 140s consitantly. Couple weeks ago I was at the track and my transmission blew up which caused my motor to over heat and the A connection came unsolderd and solderd it self to the B connection on the motor. Then that caused the motor to start smoking I was able to un hook the battery right away but after I fixed te transmission I tried to solder the motor back in and after turning the car on for a couple seconds the motor starts smoking again. The esc is still working great ran a different motor all last weekend. What I'm wondering is there a way for me to rebuild the blown motor. If there is any idea what I would need to do? Thanks for your time.

The only way to make sure its right is to send it back to Orion for repair. Their stuff is normally great so I dont know how the customer service is, but I would guess its good.
Its likely burnt out a whole phase of the motor and nothing you can do will help.
