RX antena wire

hey guys i have a spectrum DX2, and the RX wire is starting to break off of the RX itself, what fixes are there for this? can i solder it back on?

the case comes apart with 4 screws from the bottom, most hobby shops have wire cut a new peice and solder it on, just don't heat the parts up to much.

if you've got any soldering "skills," and a micro tip for your iron, you should be able to handle it (I've done it dozens of times) - it's easy.
if you lack the above, it might be smarter to send it in to spektrum and let them do it for a few bucks.

Good luck. We tried that with mine but it didn't work. I hope it does for you.

got it:p i just melted a little ball of salder to the antena wire befor i put it to the RX piece then held it above the iron while i lined up the iron with the RX then touch the iron to the RX and the antena salder at the same time to get bloth in liquid for (breaf second) and pulled the iron out and put the antena back on very quickly. worked like a charm, i also put shoe good around were the wire leave the rx to help prevent this from happaning again. :sneaky:
