Reciever problem in nitro rs4 evo
#1
A couple days ago the car was working fine, I installed a duratrax failsafe. I am running a 75 mhz hitec dcx reciever, I know ancient tech. I am working on going 2.4! The failsafe kicked in later due to low voltage from the reciever pack. I put fresh batteries in and the red light stayed on, it wouldnt even let me reprogram it. The only thing that would happen is the little glitch when you turn the car on, nothing after that. I disconnected the fail safe and hooked the servo up direct again and still nothing at all, even from another tx on the same frequency. Could the failsafe have messed up the reciever? Then I hooked up the failsafe to another vehicle. The light went green after a while but no servo response. Hooked back up direct and everything worked as it should. So I think I have come to the concolusion that the fail safe is bad and maybe it fried my reciever????? What are your thoughts? Anything else I can try? Id like to have it ready to race sunday!

Well, Im so aggrivated I just ripped all the fm stuff out of all my cars, and my 5 radios. Im selling them or trading them for a 2.4 system. Trying to decide between the dx3s becouse you get 2 recievers with it or the m11 which is my fav, but doesnt have telemetry, but I have no experience with that but it would be nice since I run nitro too. My main concern is range, I have heard the spektrums have a short range.....
