I have a tower pro steering servo on my buggy. There are no numbers on it. If I pick my buggy up off the ground the wheels move rapidly back and forth. They don't move the full stroke just a little twitch left and right. It doesn't do it when its sitting on the ground. It will stop if I touch it with my finger.Other than that the servo has plenty of torque. Is my servo beat? or can it be fixed?

Sounds to me like it is a digital servo, and digital servos are programed at the factory to recenter at 0, i had the same problem out or and old jr servo, it was slack in the servo it would nev er center so the tires would always be trying to center themselves.

Sounds reasonable. there is some play in the gears if you move it by hand with the buggy off.

sounds like thats it, it should have no play at all the slightest move ment on the servo horn should move the internals without slack.
