Thumbs up Just got the KO EX5UR ~

My little review:
quite good hand feel.
response pretty fast.
TX include the power off forgotten alarm function ~ 5mins.
when power on the 4pk & ex5ur after 1hour , still steady & no interference at all.
KR407S size very small & have fail-safe function.

Will be test it again later......

Thanks for watching.

Upgrade the power source for my EX5UR.
weight: lipo 155g vs 8AA batteries with battery holder 240g
Finally the EX5UR total weight with lipo just 467g.

How did you get that TX battery pack to plug into the EX5UR?
Did you have to fabricate a plug yourself?

I have an EX5UR also and would like to do away with AA's.

Here you go ,

1. remove the stock AA battery connector.

2. re-built a futaba male plug

3. finish

I've asked to KO rep. office sometime ago about using this radio with analog servo and they said it can be combined.
Does anyone have tried that before ?
Is it true that analog servo cannot be used with this radio ?
Some advise please...

Below is the reply i got from KO PROPO:

"The EX-5 UR only has the Ultra high speed response, so you can only use digital servos with this system."
