Default Spektrum sr3000 Case

Does anyone know if spektrum offers a replacement case for a sr3000? mine got nitro spilled on it and looks all raggedy. I called them yesterday but hung up after being on hold for two hours.

Yeah I was looking for a new case for my SR3500, accidently hit my soldering iron and melted the case.

I talked to Horizon Hobby/Spektrum and they insisted that I need to send it back to them for repairs. They won't send or sell you a new case.

I had the same problem with Horizon getting parts. My JR R-1 had a spring break on the steering. They insisted that I send it in to fix it. I needed a freaking 5 cent spring but you think they would sell or send me one........NO.

Oh well I took it apart and fixed it myself. Took 15 minutes to do. They must think you need to be a rocket scientist to do this repair. Not like it was warranty anyways. I don't use near as many JR or Spektrum stuff as I use to knowing what kind of service I will get down the road leaves me not to put all my apples in one basket.

Even worse when are shop stocks 30 plus Spektrum radios from them you think you would get some service. I know I'm glad I'm not a shop owner and have to tell someone I can't get you a 5 cent spring because the distributor of the product won't sell me one!!!!!!!!!!!!! For my 450 dollar radio.
