Default Questions about Binding SR3000s

I have only ever bound SR3100s and am having a problem with the SR3000 so trying to determine if it is the receiver or me:

1) Can I bind an SR3000 to a DX3R? The manual says yes, but want to make sure.

2) When I turn insert the binding plug and power source into the SR3100s, the orange light blinks until it is bound at which point it becomes solid.

Then I do this with the SR3000, I get no visual cue of any kind. The only indication I get from the SR3000 is a quick blink when I turn it on. I get no other feedback when I try to bind.

The thing is that the bind operation from the DX3R seems to work fine (at least there is no indication of an error). The radio just doesn't control the receiver.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Pretty sure the SR3000 has a bind button, I would have to go look and I'm too lazy right now.. use the button and not a bind plug and you should be good to go. Hold button in, power it up, can't remeber if it falshes or if it goes solid green (sorry), release, and push the bind on the 3R.

Are you trying to use the binding plug on the SR3000? If so, it doesn't use it.. it has a button on it. Hold it down while turning on the power. The green LED will blink rapidly.
