glow ignitor charging

gday there guys,just wondering if someone could help me out with the correct charge rates for my ignitor batteries,i must be charging them wrong or my batteries are knackered as they arent charging to there full capacity,im using nimh sub c protek batteries 3000mah,whats the correct charge rates for these,and also discharge rates,im discharging to .9 volts and charging at 4mv/1.5amp.is this anywhere near what im suppose to be charging them at.

I charge my ignitor batts at 1amp, discharge at same 1amp. The rest of your parameters looks fine. If the cell is getting old, try charging with a wall charger overnite. Sometimes a slow, deep recharge will help out.

if it never peak full capacity, u can discharge it .8V at the lowest rate, maybe 0.2A is good, charge with lower amp eg. 0.5A and set your peak sensitivity at 5~10mV/cell.
