Will it still work??

ok, so I am outside working on my RC8 as the engine isnt working correctly, rich at start up leans out when it warms up and the needles seem out of wak and loose. so i pull it apart and check it out, wellanyway I do what i need to do(broke the idle screw) and i start bringing stuff back in the house.
Well Except for my M11 DSS that i bought last year.Well it was out all night IN THE RAIN!!!!

So i go outside this morning in my... and the little blue led is on in the front, transmitter is off, so i take the batteries out and get dressed and, bring it to work with me cause the only way i could think of to dry it out quick was to put it on the floor and turn the heat on.Well it is dry from what I can tell and i took the top section off and idk if i should finish taking it apart(front side was up, so most water should be near there,(steering wheel area etc.) or just let it dry for a few days.
I have already fried my LRP comp. speed controller this year.

When I've done something like that, I pull cover off - the easy stuff, I don't tear it down and leave it in the car with windows rolled up sitting in the sun for a few days.
You have one chance - if there's still water inside when you try to turn it on and you short out something inside, its time for the repair shop. Wait as long as you can. Good luck!

If you don't have days to wait, try what the cell phone manufacturers recommend - place the wet device in a bowl full of uncooked instant rice. Take out the battery but leave the rest intact - you don't need starch getting on the boards inside. The rice absorbs all the moisture in a matter of hours.

You said the blue LED was on when you woke up? That means that your TX was on when it was raining? That's not a good thing. I've saved stuff before, but it always had no power to it when it was wet. let us know how it goes.
I've never heard of the rice trick, pretty cool.
