Default AMB Transponder question!

Will the AMB Transponder take unregulated LiPo voltage?

I plan on picking up a personal transponder one of these days...

But at least one of my vehicles will be run on unregulated LiPo RX voltage...

I ask, because the official word on the AMB site, is a maximum of 8 volts.

You might just want to invest in a regulator to be safe they are chep and will keep you worry freePlus 2S Lipo's Peak out at 8.4V remember

I know LiPo peaks at 8.4... That's why I was asking if the AMB can take it

Some devices can take the extra voltage, some can't...

Maybe I'll just plug the AMB into the regulator... Limit the amount of heat into the radio box.

Exclamation AMBrc DP transponder voltage

Hello
There is a document you can download from www.transponderservices.com
Go to the download page and you will see a download for AMB rc DP.
This explains what you need to do to ensure the voltage is correct.

AMB Transponder repairs are available there as well

Turbo900rr is correct. I have been running 2 Cell Lipos in my Slash trucks, my sons and grandsons for over a year without any issues. I have also run them in 1/10th Slider, Touring Car and no problems with these either.

Unless you're wiring the transponder directly to the main battery, the most it's getting in an electric vehicle is going to be 6 volts from the ESC...
