The connection and soldering problems were supposed to be taken care of awhile back. I guess if you order batteries that are old stock you could still see something like that. Most batts that will fit in any car would definitely not be old stock though.
I just ordered a 5cell Turnigy 4000 for my speed run project, everything so far from them has been amazing.

Which ones did you order? How do you like them so far? I have a 18T that I am thinking of converting to a BL setup.
