Default Reedy battery question

Could someone please tell me what style of balance plug the new Reedy 5000 35c batteries use.Iv'e looked but couldn't find anything.I am thinking about going with a Racers Edge Surecharge charger and Reedy batteries and was needing to know if I will have to pick up an adaptor to balance them. Thanks

Hard case lipo uses a separate wiring harness that allows you to charge and balance - the lipo has a 0.5mm female bullet as the balance connection. It will use something like this -

The white block plugs into your chargers balance port and one set of 4mm bullets plug into chargers power outputs and the other into the lipo. I see the charger comes with a balance harness with adapter board but I don't know which one is supplied. Usually when its not mentioned, its the JST-XH type connection, but am not sure. If you get a Hyperion adapter board that RE should have, it would work with the balance harness I linked.

Surely, Reedy has something made up??

I measured the male gold plugs of Reedys included wire harness and got 4mm for the +/- wire and 2mm for the balance wire. The white adapter on the balance wire is jst-xh. I'm making my own wire harness as the flexible rubber boot on the +/- wires is too large to fully insert the wires into the lipo when using the Traxxas Slash battery brace.

Thanks for pointing that out - 1st hard case lipo I've seen that isn't using .5mm for the balance lead.

Are you using a Surecharge charger?

You can replace that .5mm bullet with a 2mm bullet on the harness I linked. But if you're going to that much trouble, I'd prob just build my own. The white connectors are available.
