Are the turnigy brand of lipo balance chargers a good brand? Is it a good charger? And are any brand of lipo good? Or if you can let me know some good brands of lipos that would work in a 1/16 scale revo. Type this number in ebay search to see what I'm talking about and let me know! shows lipos and that charger I was looking at Let me know what you think! #: 290327051581 Thanks!
P.S. This number also shows two other batteries 270423712627 Let me know if they are good?

Here is that charger from HobbyCity for $12, new -
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...110/240v_Input
Here are the Rhino 3S lipos, for $16 each -
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...0C_Lipoly_Pack
Shipping (express international) is like $30. The Ebay auction you linked seems overpriced.
The Rhono's have a good rep as long as you keep them balanced and don't discharge them too deeply.
The 2nd lipos - they're not a not choice for a Slash. But for a 16th E-Revo will they fit? They look long. These look like Flightmax lipos - more chinese lipos, again, prob ok as long as they're balanced and not too deeply discharged. Look on the HobbyCity site and see what other lipos you can find that size. This auction look a little more reasonable price wise.

Yes, I've bought several times from that website and they are reliable and if you pay for the express shipping, you'll have your order in 4 or 5 days. The lower cost shipping takes right at 2 weeks. I've used both.
Which lipos the 2S or the 3S ones?
Over on the TRX forums, they are asying the batt box dimensions are 101.9mm x 35mm x 20.3mm (length x width x tall). The hard dimension to fit is going to be the heigth.

Here they are, new -

They're $13 each, and int'l air mail would be about another $13. Looks like he is charging you double what they cost for his trouble of buying them and selling them to you.
You decide whether thats reasonable or not.
I'd buy them myself.

They're decent lipos - take care of them, balance and don't routinely run them down to the lvc every time, you'll get your money's worth from them.
When I said I'd by them myself, I didn't mean from the eBay seller, but instead buy them directly from HobbyCity myself and cutout the middle man.

lvc - low voltage cutoff. Overdischarging a lipo will damage it - low voltage cutoff is about ~3.0v/cell, so for a 2S, that's 6volts. I personally use something a little higher 3.2v/cell, or 6.4v for a 2S lipo. This is typically set in the esc and if you don't have an esc that has a lvc, you install a separate one.
My experience with Turnigy products has been good, I'd expect it to be a good charger. The only prob I see with that charger is its intended for lipos about 1500mah in size. A 2200mah lipo is going to take over an hour. If the charge time doesn't bother you, it'll do the job.

Well is there a faster charger thats not to hard on the wallet that you would recommend? If so let me know. I have a 1/16 scale revo and am looking at lipo thats why I'm asking all these questions cause I'm new to it. But, is there another lipo you would recommend for this car or should I stick with the flightmax?

The reviews and feedback have been good on zippy flightmax lipos, you won't find anything as good for the price. There are better lipos out there, but they are more expensive. Just make sure they will fit - TRX forums are saying the 16th E-Revo batt box is 101.9mm long x 35mm wide x 20.3mm high. Anything you buy has to fit.

There will be a def difference in running lipo vs NiMh. When I switched I was running 18th scale and my run time jumped 30% changing to lipo. The punch was pretty close to being the same as NiMh, but it lasted nearly the entire runtime instead of fading quickly (a few minutes) like NiMh does.
Plus with lipo its charge and run, no discharging or conditioning like you need to do if you're going to get the most/best from NiMh. You can run and recharge lipo as many times a day as you want, NiMh - can't do that.
There's a def difference.
